Portola Middle School, DSA Application No. 01-106671, File No. 7-39 .
Dear Mr. Hibser:
DSA has reviewed the reports indicated above. In the report Alan Kropp & Associates
notes potential landslide hazard at Portola Middle School. COS concurs with them. Based
on the review of the statements made in the reports regarding the potential landslide
hazard, it is the opinion of DSA that there is a significant risk of earthquake induced
landslide. This potential for landslide is such that the health and safety of the pupils is at
risk and must be corrected.
Should you have any questions please call me at 510-622-3109.
Sincerely,
Nat Chauhan, Manager
